Full consciousness

Each one of us has two brains. Yes, two. They are often misinterpreted as one brain that has two hemispheres. However, these so-called hemispheres are separate brains, not two parts of one brain. If one were to take a look at a human brain in real life, it would be seen that they are physically separate from each, other than one feature: the corpus callosum. The corpus callosum is a thick band of nerve fibers that maintains the link between the two brains and allows for the creation of a state of full consciousness, which I will elaborate on a little later.

Unfortunately for males, at the onset of puberty, much of the corpus callosum is lost, which then is evidenced by them focusing more on one topic and becoming more competitive. Females, on the other hand, are likely to bring many topics together because they did not have any loss of the connection between the left and right brains, so these two sides are still able to ‘talk’ to each other. They are also able to build closer and more meaningful relationships than males. All is not gloomy for men, however. There are numerous ways to strengthen the connection between the left and right brains. One such activity would be mentally exercising each brain on a daily basis. Another is to listen to specially designed binaural beats that strengthen the corpus callosum.

The left brain and right brain have two radically different functions. Below is a summary listing of most of the main features of each brain. As you will see, each has a mind of its own, pardon the pun.

Left Brain (conscious mind):

analytical
logical
precise
repetitive
organized
details
scientific
detached
literal
sequential
factual
rational

Right Brain (unconscious mind):

creative
imaginative
general
intuitive
conceptual
big picture
heuristic
empathetic
figurative
irregular
concepts
symbols

These aspects of right brain/left brain are also very important in relation to our dexterity. There have been figures that suggest 5 out of 6 people are right-handed, which leaves only 1 out of 6 being left-handed. Being right handed shows that a person is left brain dominant whereas a left-handed individual is right-brain dominant. This means that they will each more often use the brain with which they are more dominant, which demonstrates how entire world views will be different.

As evidenced by the list above, it is important that we use both brains, the conscious and the unconscious, equally so that we can have a truly balanced state of mind and this will in return, facilitate for the creation of full consciousness. No longer will only one aspect of our consciousness dominate, as it does for most people, but there will be a unification of the qualities of each brain so that it will be as if a veil was taken off from under our eyes. The world will be perceived by our mind as completely different than it did prior to having full consciousness.

The perfect state of mind, is the balanced state of mind. This means that the individual will use their left brain equally as much as their right brain. This is the facilitator to what I call full consciousness. You are no longer in one mind or the other, but are utilizing the sum of the whole. The benefits of this are numerous. This holistic state of mind creates balances between the conscious and the unconscious, the yin and the yang, the male (left brain) and the female (right brain). The creation of the full consciousness state of mind within yourself is the first step to the creation of full consciousness in the global consciousness.
