Guidance for a post-apocalyptic human race

There are many enigmas and monuments shrouded in mystery. One of these is not some ancient prehistoric erection, but a monument from the 1970s situated in the state of Georgia in America dubbed The Georgia Guidestones. They are both a matter of controversy and praise. Why is this so-called American Stonehenge subject to such fierce criticism from people who are calibrating at fear on the Levels of Consciousness scale? This article will examine what is actually written on these massive monuments that were erected by a highly secretive group of individuals and unravel what it’s meaning and purpose is.

Many have written concerning the Georgia guidestones, particularly in a negative and conspiratorial manner. I fully understand that there will be those who disagree with what will transpire below. However, I feel as if this is a wrong approach to these guidestones, looking at if from a heightened position of awareness concerning societal reality. A fantastic article written by Wired helps shed some of the mystery surrounding the origins of the guidestones, as well as its purpose. My purpose in this article is to demonstrate the powerful messages engraved into the guidestones themselves.

The guidestones are a sort of American stonehenge. They were built by a group that used a pseudonym R.C. Christian, which is most likely insinuating the Rosicrucian Order, since Christian Rosenkreuz was the pseudonym used by the individual who had founded the Rosicrucian Order. However, there are many esoteric groups that call themselves Rosicrucian so this does not help much. It does not matter that much in the grand scheme of things. The message, regardless of the messenger, is what is instructing and remembered generation after generation.

Now concerning these stones:

A message consisting of a set of ten guidelines or principles is engraved on the Georgia Guidestones in eight different languages, one language on each face of the four large upright stones. Moving clockwise around the structure from due north, these languages are: English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, ancient Chinese, and Russian. The message in English reads:

A shorter message appears on the four vertical surfaces of the capstone, again in a different language and script on each face. The explanatory tablet near the Guidestones identifies these languages/scripts as Babylonian Cuneiform (north), Classical Greek (east), Sanskrit (south), and Egyptian Hieroglyphs (west), and provides what is presumably an English translation: “Let these be guidestones to an age of reason.”

The phrase Let these be guidestones to an age of reason is a reference to the book, The Age of Reason, by Thomas Paine and is no doubt a nod to Thomas Carlyle’s Sartor Resartus.

Some other symbolic facts. The granite used for them were taken from Pyramid Quarries in Georgia. Note pyramid in the name of the quarries. The guidestones were erected on March 22, 1980. No doubt, there is symbolic meaning in this date and I already can see March 22nd as a symbolic date. However, this is not the point to my writing this article.

My point is concerning the statements on the guidestones. I would like to point out how these guidestones are actually a wonderful collection of statements put together by a society that is wishing for the same type of future society and world that we envision. I will go through the statements one by one.

MAINTAIN HUMANITY UNDER 500,000,000
IN PERPETUAL BALANCE WITH NATURE

This is important, and I can explain this in two ways, one of which is the much more rational sounding. We all realize that the earth is hurting really bad in recent times because of humans and their malevolent acts against her. A human population of 500,000,000 in order to be in balance with nature and not have wars over natural resources of physical possessions. The main argument that I find online concerning this one is that people believe that this is an indication of some sort of depopulation scheme. However, let’s not be foolish. There are numerous ways for lowering the population to the ideal balance. This can be a voluntary positioning of peoples’ awareness by seeing that having as many children as humanly possible is not a reasonable thing to do. Already, people in industrialized nations have very few children and in some countries such as Germany, the population is lowering. I am not saying I know exactly how to lower the human population without violating someone’s personal liberty to do what they wish, but there are think tanks that I am sure are trying to figure this out in the best way possible.

The second, and significantly more reasonable explanation for this first (and most controversial) statement is the following. Considering that these guidestones are most likely intended for a post-apocalyptic humanity, the 500,000,000 number is for the future human race to not raise it above that level, since after some large catastrophe, the population could drastically be cut to even perhaps a few thousand. Rosicrucians (the ones who I am almost certain financed the project) do not believe in killing off billions of people, as some people will have you believe these guidestones are saying. Maintaining a population and cutting a population are completely different. This is very important so I wish to stress it’s importance: These guidestones are instructions to a post-apocalyptic human race. The human population, either from 2012-related events or some other event like an asteroid impact or nuclear holocaust, would be drastically less than now. In fact, this has happened several times in history. Many ancient myths talk about 5 human race extinctions (in actuality, these humans never became totally extinct or else we wouldn’t be having this conversation right now). There were probably always a few survivors. What the guidestones are trying to convey (at least in my honest and humble opinion) is that if such a catastrophic event were to eradicate most of humanity’s population, a set of instructions written on these disaster-proof stones would help civilization rebuild order and provide guidelines as to the most efficient and holistic way to live. Maintaining population so that it doesn’t rise above 500 million is one of those. Let’s say 20 million people survive a pole shift in 2012 (if this were to occur, that is), then that would mean civilization would have to figure out smart, ethical and reasonable policies on how to keep the earth’s population below this level. Even something as simple as the pull out method (I’m assuming condoms will be hard to come by after a massive catastrophe) or using natural menstrual cycles as guidelines, in order to ensure people will not have loads of children. I’m not sure if I explained it well what it means by maintaining population under 500,000,000, but understand that these are guidestones for a post-apocalyptic humanity that are there in order to jump start civilization so that the human race doesn’t go through another dark ages period like it did after the last advanced ancient civilization was destroyed around 12,000 years ago.

This is quite in line with the above. Guide production is a very peaceful-sounding method. It sounds as if it would be more of educating people on how overpopulation is destroying our habitat and showing alternatives, such as contraceptives, etc. Improving Fitness means people will be fit. Yoga and Tai Chi are two of the many ways this can be achieved. We must not overwork outselves so that we never have time for such crucial activities.

UNITE HUMANITY WITH A LIVING
NEW LANGUAGE

This is simply beautiful. A living language, mystically speaking, is a language that we all inherently already know….being-to-being. We are all naturally extra sensory localized fields of consciousness, existing in part as human beings and the evolution of the human being to be able to communicate telepathically is something that is not only a possibility, but is already being researched and tested in the present day. This is a true indicator of socially transformed society. Less excitingly, but more probable, this may refer to either the creation or compilation of a new verbal language that would be the primary format used, with its unique syntax, that would replace a previously-used language that may have been inadequate or incomplete. Latin is considered a dead language, for instance, whereas Spanish is considered a living language.

RULE PASSION — FAITH — TRADITION

This is telling us that we should use reason, meaning looking to see if something makes sense or has logic in it. Faith is a big one here, showing us that we must question what we believe and educate ourselves to see if this is something we should be following at all.

PROTECT PEOPLE AND NATIONS
WITH FAIR LAWS AND JUST COURTS

Fair laws and just courts are very seldom in our world as it is. Just in some countries are there fairness and justice. Protecting people and nations is a very nice thing to do, indeed.

LET ALL NATIONS RULE INTERNALLY
RESOLVING EXTERNAL DISPUTES
IN A WORLD COURT

This is crucial to have unless we want to continue the future of humanity, living in wartime constantly. Countries would still solve all problems within their own countries domestically. However, if it is a dispute between two countries, such as the USA and Iran, for example, the case would go to a world court and evidence would be put forth and against and entire wars and millions of murders could be avoided.

AVOID PETTY LAWS AND USELESS
OFFICIALS

There are way too many petty laws. There is too much bureaucracy in the world, I am sure most of us can agree on that. Ridding the nation from such ridiculous laws would not only lessen the burden on law enforcement, but would allow society to have more liberty. Useless officials would be layed off from work and entire agencies shut down that serve no purpose in the future, such as anything dealing with some sort of war.

When the mythical country of America was formed over 200 years ago, the things that the founding fathers talked about were the ideas of civic virtue, liberty, and the doing things for the common good. Personal self interests were to be put after the common good of society. Unfortunately, we have left these tenets long ago. This statement is merely telling us that we should return to this way of operating society.

Love…I do not even need to explain that. Now this phrase “seeking harmony with the Infinite” is key here. They rightfully so do not use any words that have been given a scourge through religions such as “God”, “Deity”, etc. The use of the term Infinite for the Source of all reality and existence is a wonderful step into a heightened level of universal consciousness. Harmony with the Infinite is something that can refer to resonating at the same frequency as the Source. It can even mean to unite with the Source, becoming One with the All.

Although cancer is a harsh-sounding term, I believe they used it in order to exemplify how important it is to keep a balance with nature and humanity. There must be a respectful relationship or else our human race is nonexistent and all of this will be gone if we become extinct. It is absolutely pertinent that we follow these things or else none of our discussion here will be ever remembered, if we exist no longer.

When human civilization is destroyed and chaos exists in whatever is left of society, how can humanity ensure it has the ability and knowledge to rebuild after such a post-apocalyptic scenario? It is quite apparant that many human civilizations did not have such guidestones to keep them out of an age of darkness and primitiveness, since we would not see the sudden rise of civilization 6,000 years ago. Humanity would not have had to resort to hunter-gatherer behavior and we would perhaps still know the history, technology, spiritual beliefs, and other things from ancient advanced civilizations that have since them been completely destroyed and decimated by terrestrial and cosmic forces. Do not have fear regarding such helpful tools for a post-apocalyptic humanity looking for instructions on how to live a near-utopian society. Do not have fear that it is part of some diabolical conspiracy to kill billions and enslave the rest. Most importantly of all, do not have fear.
